Medical Discovery Team on Aging - Core Integration to Understand and Extend Human Healthspan
Dr. Paul Robbins (Professor, Department of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Biophysics, University of Minnesota) is the Associate Director of The University of Minnesota Medical Discovery Team on Biology of Aging. Dr. Robbins is an internationally recognized expert in the molecular and cellular basis of aging whose work focuses on the role of inflammation in aging and on the discovery of drugs that may influence the aging process.
The goals of the Medical Discovery Team on Biology of Aging are to gain an understanding of the molecular events that lead to aging and develop therapeutic approaches to extend healthspan and improve the quality of human life. Dr. Robbins presentation will highlight the multiple-modal technology approaches required to meet these goals (https://cbs.umn.edu/node/14691).
